The Prestigious Rolex Watches
Friday, July 1st, 2011When it comes to accessories, the most important one of them is a graceful, decent and stylish wristwatch. This is an article which is equally wanted and admired by people of all ages. Keeping this rising demand in mind, the prestigious high fashion companies and even the small manufacturers are striving hard to get their items sold. These watches are now being made for different ages in different designs by all the top fashion houses.
Wristwatches are being produced at both large and medium scales nowadays. The difference between them is just the style, quality and reliability. In this kind of market situation, where market followers and market challengers both are strangling equally against the market leaders, it is a tough job to give the customers something that no one else is providing them. Creating a high name is not as tough as maintaining the reputation is.
A number of glamorous brands and high quality fashion houses are making wristwatches. Out of them, only a few names stand out from others and they just have their name enough to attract a customer. One of these most desirable names is Rolex. This is a widely recognized and very successful brand of watches. This Swiss based watches manufacturer company is the identity of high-quality, stylish, different, and reliable luxury wristwatches. Their fame and reputation has enhanced their goodwill to an extent where their wristwatches are prevalently viewed as a status symbol. Fashion magazines and blogs declared Rolex’s position at number 71 on their annual list of the 100 most valuable global brands in 2007. Rolex enjoys the status of being the largest single luxury watch brand which is approximately producing around 2,000 watches of various designs in a day which is earning them handsome revenue which is estimated as about US$3 billion.
Apart from the fame and position, Rolex has never tended to ignore the maintenance of quality and innovation in their designs. The most famous designs are Cellini models which include Quartz Ladies, Quartz Men, Cellinium, Cestello Ladies, Cestello Mens, Danaos Mens andPrince. The Modern models include Air-King, Date, Datejust, Datejust Ii, Datejust Turn-O-Graph, Lady Datejust Pearlmaster etc. Others are Explorer, Explorer II, GMT Master II, Masterpiece, Milgauss, Oyster quartz, Sea Dweller, Sea Dweller DeepSea, Submariner, Yacht-Master and Yacht-Master II.
Rolex watches have different prices according to the models and the material which is used in the production. In Britain, the retail price for the highly hunted stainless steel ‘Pilots’ like the GMT Master II etc range from GBP £5,250 to onwards. The special ones like the ones which are Diamond engraved obviously are more expensive but totally worth it.
